Summary of the Referral Process For example, I received a referral from a wedding minister who was not available that day. I emailed a wedding minister in that area with the date, time and location and asked if they were available. That wedding minister emailed me back that they were available. I emailed the details for contacting both the couple and for paying the referring minister (if the wedding planning reached the deposit/payment stage). In some areas, I may email more than one minister asking if they are available. If something happens that the couple does not agree to terms with the Wedding Minister (or the wedding minister indicates that they are not available) and the couple is still looking, I will send info to another minister. Couples gain access to the contact info for wedding ministers when they fill out the form online. They may go to the website of the wedding minister and contact the wedding minister from their web site.
